So Who Is Nate?
The kitchen is small and cramped. There is barely any counter space. Sometimes a pan or plate ends up balanced precariously across the sink for a photo. The camera isn't even that good, but this food speaks for itself.
This isn't cooking with a lot of expensive equipment and gadgets. The ingredients and the method are the important part. You don't need much more than a good knife, a couple of pans, and the odd utensil or two to make spectacular and tasty dishes.
Nate is an unconventional chef with a minimalist approach to cooking that is downright wizardly.
Mel is a food junkie and willing guinea pig.
As a volunteer apprentice and enthusiastic taste tester, I attempt to help, hinder, and document all of our ventures into the world of culinary delights.
